The last few months have been a little crazy. Lots of yard work, end of school activities, my oldest daughter’s graduation, summer activities made life busy.  Finding time to write posts has been a struggle, but it is time to jump back into blogging again!  With warmer temperatures on the way, I decided my wardrobe was in need of more short-sleeved summer tops for my June Fix.  I had the same stylist as my May Fix.  My stylist listened to my previous feedback and really delivered for June.  They also did a fabulous job keeping everything in my price range.  I knew this month would be tough deciding what to keep. The weather is finally warming up, and I am ready to make the transition to summer clothes.  When I peeked at my Fix this month, I didn’t immediately love it.  My usual stylist was taking time off this month, and the new stylist was trying to get me out of my comfort zone.  Sometimes that is a good thing and sometimes it isn’t. 🙂  Once I tried everything on, I liked most of it. Spring has finally arrived and April’s Fix was full of beautiful colors! I peeked at the Stitch Fix app before it arrived and absolutely LOVED everything in my Fix.  Once again, my stylist did an amazing job choosing pieces for me and I knew it was going to be hard to decide.  Without seeing it all in person, I really wanted to keep everything. After a fairly mild winter this year, the past week has been cold and snowy here in Idaho.  I am anxiously waiting for spring to arrive with warmer temperatures and pretty flowers.  March’s Fix was just what I needed this week with a wonderful pop of color that brightened up the gray, dreary weather.  My stylist did an awesome job with this Fix and I was really tempted to keep it all. Between our incredible Disney cruise the first week of December and getting ready for Christmas, I ended up taking a break from blogging during December.  I am so excited to finally get back to writing and I have so many great posts planned for January! Since it is the first of the month, I am kicking 2018 with my January Stitch Fix Review.  This box actually arrived the week before Christmas.  I thought about wrapping it and putting it under the tree, but it needed to be returned before Christmas Day. I usually peek at the app to see what I am getting, but I decided to be surprised when I opened this box for my Facebook video.  My kids were home for the week, so that made filming a video interesting. 🙂 [Read more…]

When my kids were little, I didn’t spend much time shopping for myself. Trying to keep kids calm while I looked, taking them into a dressing room, and then having to make a quick decision on an item was just not enjoyable.  As a busy mom of older kids, I still don’t like to spend time looking at racks of clothes and trying things on in a dressing room.

My husband Josh has always had a difficult time finding business clothes that fit him.  He has an athletic build with broad, muscular shoulders and a trim waistline.  Shirts that fit him in the shoulders are usually baggy around the middle. It was actually his idea to join Stitch Fix first.  He learned about it from a co-worker and has been very happy with the service.  Everything he has tried from Stitch Fix has fit him well, and he has been able to build a professional wardrobe of clothes that he likes.
