April 2018 Stitch Fix Review

Spring has finally arrived and April’s Fix was full of beautiful colors! I peeked at the Stitch Fix app before it arrived and absolutely LOVED everything in my Fix.  Once again, my stylist did an amazing job choosing pieces for me and I knew it was going to be hard to decide.  Without seeing it all in person, I really wanted to keep everything.

Not familiar with Stitch Fix?  Check out my post-Finding Style with Stitch Fix to read about how it works.  My husband and I joined Stitch Fix in March 2017.  We love getting a box of new clothes and being able to try them on in the comfort of our home. With Stitch Fix, you can mix and match with items you already own and try new styles.  Keep what you want and send back anything you don’t (with free shipping both ways). There is no minimum purchase, and you can choose how often you want to receive a fix (automatically ship every 1-3 months or manually choose a date).  I love getting clothes that fit great and look fabulous without a lot of effort.

Instead of recording a video of my unboxing, I decided to find some courage and do my first Facebook Live.  It wasn’t as scary as I thought and next time I will turn the camera. 🙂

Once I had a chance to try everything on, the choice of what to keep and what to return was fairly easy.

What I Kept

Keeping this top was a no-brainer.  I love the colors and the floral print.  I also loved that my stylist found clothes this month that are more in line with my budget.  The fabric is a little thin, but it will be a great transition piece for spring.

What I Returned

I really had a hard time deciding on this top.  The colors are so pretty and it looked cute on.  Although I didn’t mind the plaid print, I didn’t really love this top.  So, I decided to send it back.

My stylist knew how much I loved the pants in my March Fix, so she found a similar pair for me this month.  They were a little snug and I could have exchanged them for a bigger size.  But, they didn’t have front pockets and that was a deal breaker for me.

I thought this black striped top was cute, and I considered keeping it as well.  Ultimately, I didn’t love the brown accent on the pocket or the sleeves, so back it went.

And finally, we have the pink top.   I was unsure of this top when I peeked at the app, but it was such a pretty color that I wanted to give it a chance.  Once I tried it on, I actually liked it, but I didn’t like where the sleeves hit on my arms. It probably would have looked great with the cardigan from my January Fix.

Although I only kept one top, I was happy overall with this Fix because it was full of beautiful colors and lots of variety from my stylist.  If you would like to learn more about Stitch Fix, check out my post-Finding Style with Stitch Fix or check out the Stitch Fix website.  And if you are looking for inspiration for your style board, check out my Stitch Fix Reviews Board and Stitch Fix Style Board on Pinterest!
