March 2018 Stitch Fix Review

After a fairly mild winter this year, the past week has been cold and snowy here in Idaho.  I am anxiously waiting for spring to arrive with warmer temperatures and pretty flowers.  March’s Fix was just what I needed this week with a wonderful pop of color that brightened up the gray, dreary weather.  My stylist did an awesome job with this Fix and I was really tempted to keep it all.

Not familiar with Stitch Fix?  Check out my post-Finding Style with Stitch Fix to read about how it works.  I joined Stitch Fix in March 2017.  I love getting a box of new clothes and being able to try them on in the comfort of my home. With Stitch Fix, you can mix and match with items you already own and try new styles.  Keep what you want and send back anything you don’t (with free shipping both ways). There is no minimum purchase, and you can choose how often you want to receive a fix (automatically ship every 1-3 months or manually choose a date).  I love getting clothes that fit great and look fabulous without a lot of effort.

What I kept

I added this dress to my style board a month or so ago because I loved the look of it.  I like long dresses that I can wear to church, and I liked the colors and the pattern of this one.  I was so happy to get this dress in my Fix and it is beautiful in person. I love everything about it and it looks great paired with the jean jacket that I got in December’s Fix.

What I returned

I loved the bright colors of this top and the pants.  They look amazing paired together and are perfect for spring.  The top is a similar to other tops that I have with the lightweight fabric.  When it came down to it, I didn’t really love the lattice trim on the front.  I also didn’t love the pattern on me.

I LOVE these pants!  Love the color and style, and they were so comfortable on.  I really wanted to keep them, but they were a little out of the budget this month. So sadly, they had to go back. 🙁

I also really liked this black polka dot top.  It was cute on and I liked the cuff of the sleeves and the pattern.  I didn’t really like the wider neckline, so that is why I decided to send it back.

And finally, we have the striped cardigan.  After loving the cardigan in my January Fix, I asked my stylist to send me another.  I liked the stripes of this one and loved that it had pockets. It also looked great with the outfit that I kept from my August Fix.  But, I decided to send it back because it didn’t really go with anything else in my closet.

As I said at the top of this post, I really liked everything that was sent this month and it was SO tempting to keep it all (especially the teal pants).  But, I love the dress that I kept and can’t wait to start wearing it.  If you would like to learn more about Stitch Fix, click the link or check out my other posts below!  If you need ideas for your next Stitch Fix, check out my Review Board and Style Board on Pinterest.

  1. I actually LOVE every piece in this set!! Especially those pants! Good for you for making the difficult but responsible decision to send them back even though you loved them!!
I wish we had Stitch Fix in Canada! :'(

  2. I love Stitch Fix! It’s so hard when you are on a budget, or something is just not quite right with an item. I always have a hard time sending things back! That dress you got is beautiful on you – definitely the right choice to keep.

  3. Those were such cute pieces but I think you made the right call! I’ve had fixes that were like that too, ones were I could have kept all the pieces if I were made of money lol! I love that they sent you something from your style board.

  4. I received this dress last summer and love it! The colors are much better in person. Thank you for styling it for Spring with Jean jacket and T-shirt underneath. Love that idea and will need to try it! Up until now only thought I could wear it in summer.
