Spring has finally arrived and April’s Fix was full of beautiful colors! I peeked at the Stitch Fix app before it arrived and absolutely LOVED everything in my Fix. My mom’s carrot cake was always a favorite when we were growing up. It is moist and delicious, and the frosting is just heavenly. Years ago, I bought a boxed carrot cake mix thinking it would be the same. I will never make that mistake again! After a fairly mild winter this year, the past week has been cold and snowy here in Idaho. I am anxiously waiting for spring to arrive with warmer temperatures and pretty flowers. March’s Fix was just what I needed this week with a wonderful pop of color that brightened up the gray, dreary weather.
