January 2019 Stitch Fix Kids Review

For Christmas, we decided to get Mother/Daughter Fixes.  My girls loved their fixes for back to school and had been excited about getting another.  This review is for my 8-year-old, Megan.  To distinguish between the two fixes, I am calling Megan’s fix the January 2019 Review, and my 11-year-old’s is the December 2018 Review.   You can find links to that review and their back to school reviews at the end of this post.😃

As I mentioned in my January Review post, we opened our boxes together the day after Christmas. It was fun to see what we each got because I didn’t peek.

What is Stitch Fix?

This post contains affiliate links.  If you sign up for Stitch Fix through my referral link, I receive a commission that supports my blog.  Please read my disclosure policy for more details.

Not familiar with Stitch Fix?  Check out my post-Finding Style with Stitch Fix to read about how it works.  We love getting a box of new clothes and being able to try them on in the comfort of our home. With Stitch Fix, you can mix and match with items you already own and try new styles.  Keep what you want and send back anything you don’t (with free shipping both ways). There is no minimum purchase, and you can choose how often you want to receive a fix (automatically ship every 1-3 months or manually choose a date).

Stitch Fix Kids offers sizes 2T-14, and each kid box comes with 8-12 items that are priced $10-35. I love that Stitch Fix realizes that kids grow fast and kept the price of items reasonable. There is a $20 style fee for each box that is used as a credit on anything you keep.  Each of my daughters received 10 items in their Fix along with a fun activity sheet and stickers.

What Megan Kept

Megan loves pink, so this top was a must.  She thought the graphic on the front was really cute.

Megan also wanted to get some comfy pants, and these joggers were perfect.

Megan loved these rose gold pink shoes as soon as she saw them.  They were a little more than I normally spend on kids shoes, but they fit well and were very comfortable.

I mentioned in a previous review that Megan only wears leggings.  These blue leggings were a cute print and are made with good quality fabric, so she decided to keep them.

What Megan Returned

This gray pullover was comfy and Megan liked it, but she liked the above items more so she had to return it.

This puffer coat was cute and warm, but she already has a good coat so we returned it.

This black and gold set was cute and just her style. Again, it came down to what items she wanted most.

This sweater was adorable on Megan, but she wasn’t fond of the zippers on the side.

This outfit was so cute together.  We loved the color and fabric of this shirt.  I thought the twist on the front looked nice, but Megan didn’t love it.

Both girls got these leggings in their fixes. Although it would have been fun to have matching leggings, they each decided to return them.  It was tempting to keep them for both girls, but we had to draw a line somewhere. 😃

Megan loved her fix and would have kept everything if I would have let her. All of the items were of great quality and priced well. It just came down to what she loved the most, and the pink shoes were her favorite.
