Peanut Butter Nutella Cookie Cups

Yesterday I went through my big list of planned posts and made a monthly plan for the whole year.  I was feeling pretty proud of myself.  Then I saw that today was World Nutella Day and decided to move this recipe post up six months. So much for planning! 😂  This recipe was too good to put off anyway. [Read more…]

Unique Jewelry Gifts for Her

This post contains affiliate links. Please read my disclosure policy for details.  This post is not sponsored by TomDesign Shop and the opinions on their jewelry are my own.  I did have the wonderful opportunity to work for this shop from Dec 2016-May 2017 and I used my employee discount well. 😃

If you have seen any of my Stitch Fix posts, you may have noticed the beautiful necklaces that I usually wear.  Most of the jewelry that I wear comes from Tom Design Shop on Etsy, and I have been wanting to write a post about this jewelry for some time.  With Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day coming up, now just seemed like a great time.  Whether you are looking for something for yourself or a gift idea for the women in your life, you will love the ideas in this post! Chocolate Hug Cookies

I came across this cookie recipe years ago on Pinterest, and it has been a favorite ever since.  They are chewy and fudgy and absolutely wonderful.  Topped with a Hershey hug or candy cane kiss makes them the perfect holiday cookie.  [Read more…]

November 2018 Stitch Fix Review

November went a little faster than I expected, but at least I am sharing this Fix before the month actually ends. 😃 I absolutely loved everything in November’s Fix. My stylist did an amazing job putting together a great outfit for me and everything was priced right. BUT, with Christmas fast approaching, I decided to save my budget for gifts and only keep one item.  Trust me, it was a hard choice because this Fix really was a 5/5. [Read more…]

Sweet Potato Souffle

My mom always made this recipe for Thanksgiving when I was a kid. I liked it ok, but to be honest, it was not my favorite.  As I got older, I grew to love this side dish and now I look forward to it each Thanksgiving. [Read more…]

October 2018 Stitch Fix Review

The leaves have changed colors and temperatures are definitely cooler in my area.  How crazy that Halloween is next week!  After catching up on all my Stitch Fix posts in September, I needed a short break before I did October’s Stitch Fix Review.  Time to share the cute clothes from this Fix! Practically Perfect Pumpkin Bars

I love Fall! The cooler temperatures have put me in the mood for baking, and I can’t wait to share all of my favorite fall recipes! I got this pumpkin bar recipe from a friend many years ago, and it is one of my all time favorites!  The original recipe makes a huge pan (11×17), so I only make them once a year when I need a dessert for a crowd.

This year, I decided to adjust the recipe down for a regular 9×13 pan.  My kids and I finished them off in no time flat and they are begging me to make them again soon.  The regular pan was the perfect size for a family and was easier to keep in the fridge for a couple days.  If you do need to make a bigger pan for a crowd, I will include that recipe at the end. 😃 [Read more…]

September 2018 Stitch Fix Kids Review

In July 2018, Stitch Fix introduced Stitch Fix for Kids.  My two younger daughters were so excited to try it, and I was excited to not spend as much time back to school shopping. 🙂 We waited for a couple weeks to sign up, so my girls ended up getting their Fixes near the end of August/early September.  This review is for my 11-year old daughter, Sara.

Stitch Fix Kids is similar to Stitch Fix for adults.  I added each girl to my account and then filled out a profile for each one.  Stitch Fix Kids offers sizes 2T-14, and each kid box comes with 8-12 items that are priced $10-35. I love that Stitch Fix realizes that kids grow fast and kept the price of items reasonable. There is a $20 style fee for each box that is used as a credit on anything you keep.  Each of my daughters received 10 items in their Fix along with a fun activity sheet and stickers.   [Read more…]
