Quick and Easy Cinnamon Biscuits

This recipe is as quick and easy as it comes with only 4 ingredients.  It is similar to monkey bread but without all the work or time monkey bread takes to cook.  I learned this recipe at a church activity when I was 10 years old, and I loved to make it for my family growing up.

It is an easy recipe for kids to make and be involved with cooking.  My parents were great about letting me help with breakfast or make dessert when I was growing up. When I became an adult, I continued to make these biscuits for my own family.  They have been a favorite family breakfast for many, many years, and my kids enjoy helping me make them.

Cinnamon Biscuits

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 cup sugar

3/4 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375. Arrange biscuits in a greased 9×13 pan.

Mix butter, sugar, and cinnamon and spoon mixture evenly over biscuits.

Bake for 16-18 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.

Cool for a couple minutes and then serve.  They are great by themselves or served with eggs and bacon.
