October 2017 Stitch Fix Review

Welcome to my October 2017 Stitch Fix review!  My husband and I joined Stitch Fix in March 2017 (check out Finding Style with Stitch Fix to read about how it works).  We love getting a box with new clothes and being able to try them on in the comfort of our home.  With Stitch Fix, you can mix and match with items you already own and try new styles. You can choose how often you want to receive a fix (manually choose a date or automatically ship every 1-3 months). Keep what you want and send back anything you don’t (with free shipping both ways). I decided to try something new this month and make an unboxing video. Enjoy! 🙂

Well, that was fun (and a little nerve racking/cheesy too 🙂 ).  So here is what everything looked like when I tried it on.

I absolutely love this top. I tried it on first with the green pants, but it didn’t look that great so I went back to jeans.

The green pants looked much better with the navy top and the Toms.

Loved the colors of this dress and the fabric was so soft.

What I kept

I really liked everything in my box this time, but after trying everything one I decided to only keep this top.  I love everything about it-the colors, pattern, fabric, cut.  The fabric is lightweight and I liked that it had a white tank underneath that was attached.

What I returned

I liked the color and print of this top, but it was tight on my arms when I tried it on.  I had to unbutton the sleeves to get it past my forearms, so back it went.

I was a little unsure of these pants when I first pulled them out of the box.  I really liked them when I put them on because they were so comfortable.  Every pair of pants I have tried from Stitch Fix have fit perfectly and been very comfortable.  I liked that the green was different from my usual blue jeans, BUT I really don’t have tops to match the green color.  So, I decided to send them back.

I really loved the colors of this dress and the fabric was so soft.  Unfortunately, it was just not very flattering on me, so I returned it.

Yes, I returned the shoes. 🙁  This pair did fit this time, but they were still a little snug.  Heading into fall and soon winter, I just didn’t think I would wear them much.  I’ll probably request a pair next summer to try again.
