Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
  • 5-6 peaches, peeled and sliced, or a 28 oz. can sliced peaches
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 Yellow cake mix
  • 12 oz. can lemon lime soda
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. If using canned peaches, drain part of juice. Pour peaches into a greased 9x13 pan.
  3. Drizzle with melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle dry cake mix over peaches. Using a spoon, carefully flatten any clumps of mix.
  5. Pour the soda over top of the cake mix. The soda will mix with the cake mix and start to fizz.
  6. Cover pan with tin foil and bake for 50 minutes.
  7. Carefully remove the foil and bake for an extra 10 minutes to brown.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving (it will be really hot!).
  9. Serve with vanilla ice cream. Refrigerate leftovers.
