Peach Cobbler

- 5-6 peaches, peeled and sliced, or a 28 oz. can sliced peaches
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 Yellow cake mix
- 12 oz. can lemon lime soda
- Preheat oven to 350.
- If using canned peaches, drain part of juice. Pour peaches into a greased 9x13 pan.
- Drizzle with melted butter.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix over peaches. Using a spoon, carefully flatten any clumps of mix.
- Pour the soda over top of the cake mix. The soda will mix with the cake mix and start to fizz.
- Cover pan with tin foil and bake for 50 minutes.
- Carefully remove the foil and bake for an extra 10 minutes to brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving (it will be really hot!).
- Serve with vanilla ice cream. Refrigerate leftovers.
