Welcome to my new blog! After taking the last few years off from blogging, I am so excited to start fresh. The world of blogging has changed a lot in the past few years, and there are so many exciting opportunities available. I have spent the past couple months working behind the scenes on my blog and learning all I can, and today is the day to launch!!! It also happens to be my birthday so what a great way to celebrate!
So what is this blog going to be about? If you visited the home page, you have probably guessed my top three topics. I love food, and I love to share great recipes. As a busy mom, I like recipes that are quick, easy, and taste great. When I click on a recipe in Pinterest, I want to see the recipe, not scroll through a long back story. I know most moms are super busy, so recipes that I share will be straight to the point. I am thrilled to offer a way to print recipes from my blog too.
My other two topics will be focused on card making and preserving family memories. I have been making cards for all occasions for 15 years. I have always dreamed of selling my creations, and my Etsy shop is now officially open! You will find cards for all occasions that can be personalized with any message and sent directly friends or family members. First class shipping is free for all my cards, and I also offer an assortment of $10-15 gift cards if you want to include a gift. I will be adding a new design each week that will be showcased on a post here.
Memory keeping has always been important to me. I began traditional scrapbooking 17 years ago. I enjoyed creating pages, but the process was sometimes overwhelming and time consuming. I would spend two hours working on a page for several pictures, and I felt like I would NEVER get caught up. Three years ago, I discovered the Project Life App and it changed everything for me. My photos are finally getting off my phone and computer and into scrapbooks that we can actually look at and enjoy. I still have plenty of work to do on digital and printed photos, but I will be sharing my process and some of my pages each week.
In addition to those three topics, I will also be sharing tips and tricks, favorite products, and a monthly Stitch Fix review. I am starting off with a few of my favorite posts that I previously had on my other blog, but I have much much more planned for the days ahead.
